Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Union County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Union County, Oregon. Day to day you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Overtime paid at a premium rate.
