Join our team: we are hiring a groundsman in Cass County, Texas. The job is at a private estate garden. On a typical shift you will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. You should have: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
