Commis chef • Billiri, Gombe State

Join our team: we are hiring a commis chef in Billiri, Gombe State. Day-to-day duties: • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Strong knife skills and speed on the line 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. ₦260,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
