Abattoir worker wanted in Kit Carson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Kit Carson County, Colorado. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. You will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
