Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Oconee County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance.
