Now hiring: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Hancock County, Illinois. You will be based on a road construction project. You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain The role involves: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily Full-time, day shift.
