Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Sarasota County, Florida. You will be based on a busy construction site. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Rotating shifts.
