Excavator operator — Lokoja

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Lokoja, Kogi State. The job is at a road and highway construction project. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
