Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On a typical shift you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines.
