Framing carpenter • Perry County, Alabama

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Perry County, Alabama. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Day to day you will finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
