Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Perry County, Illinois. You will work on a dam or embankment job. You will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction. Ideal candidate: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
