Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in Irwin County, Georgia. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Overtime paid at a premium rate.
