Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Nueces County, Texas. The role involves: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Rotating shifts.
