Urgent requirement: bricklayer (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Webb County, Texas. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
