Immediate opening: pressman (Nebraska)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Webster County, Nebraska. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
