Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
