Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Maiduguri, Borno State. The job is at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Day to day you will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence.
