Your main tasks: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
