Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Bauchi, Bauchi State. The job is on the press shop floor. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On a typical shift you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around ₦3,500 per day, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
