Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Collier County, Florida. The job is in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
