The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 5+ years on the tools preferred.
