Confectioner — Ilaje

Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Ilaje, Ondo State. The job is at a cake shop. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • 2+ years' experience as a baker On the job you will handle: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
