Cnc lathe operator — Williamson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Williamson County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Six days a week, one day off.
