Dough maker • Lavaca County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dough maker in Lavaca County, Texas. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. Day to day you will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
