Immediate opening: crane operator (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Trafford, England. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals Rotating shifts.
