Rough terrain crane operator — Sagbama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Sagbama, Bayelsa State. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work Full-time with occasional weekends.
