Overhead (EOT) crane operator • Nome Census Area, Alaska

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Nome Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
