Foundry worker • Gurara, Niger State

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Gurara, Niger State. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
