Press shop operator wanted in Lee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Lee County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
