What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
