Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Sunderland, England. The role involves read and interpret the load chart before every lift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits We offer £85 per day plus benefits.
