Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Hooker County, Nebraska. The job is in a tool room. Day-to-day duties: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
