Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Hamilton County, Texas. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. You will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
