Great opportunity: excavator operator (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Wayne County, Kentucky. You will be based on a housing development site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day to day you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
