Bakery assistant — Edati

Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Edati, Niger State. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. The role involves knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; score the top of loaves before baking; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
