Canteen cook — Tooele County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a canteen cook in Tooele County, Utah. You will work in a hotel kitchen. The role involves check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; prepare the mise en place before each service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. You should have: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
