Ideal candidate: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Day-to-day duties: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking Part-time with flexible hours.
