Great opportunity: hydraulic crane operator (Taraba State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Lau, Taraba State. You will be based on a busy construction site. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
