Join our team: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Peoria County, Illinois. You will work on a quarry floor. You should have: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) The role involves: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
