Gantry crane operator wanted in Pinal County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Pinal County, Arizona. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits Full-time, day shift.
