Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gardener in Jackson County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Ideal candidate: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
