Heavy goods vehicle driver wanted in Comanche County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Comanche County, Texas. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. The role involves: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Confident with manual handling and load securing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
