Crawler dozer operator • Nafada, Gombe State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Nafada, Gombe State. You will be based on a road construction project. The role involves rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
