Immediate opening: we are hiring a retail butcher in Allen County, Kansas. You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Rotating shifts.
