Gang bricklayer — Kaltungo

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Kaltungo, Gombe State. The job is at a residential building site. On a typical shift you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
