Now hiring: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. The job is at a busy distribution depot. We are looking for minimum 2 years' long-haul experience; physically fit for long hours behind the wheel; good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
