Crane operator — Waldo County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Waldo County, Maine. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Day-to-day duties: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
