Retail butcher wanted in Todd County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Todd County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Your main tasks: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife 5+ years on the tools preferred.
