Urgent requirement: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Alimosho, Lagos State. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry The role involves: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
