Now hiring: hoist operator (Sokoto State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Illela, Sokoto State. On a typical shift you will help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Full-time with occasional weekends.
